роли МОК во время Игр
В период проведения Игр МОК исполняет ряд следующих ролей:
• с помощью и при участии всех партнеров Игр обеспечивает успешность Игр для всех клиентов посредством оперативного планирования и следования намеченным планам;
• обеспечивает устойчивое развитие качества, ценностей и успешности Игр, а также удовлетворение общих ожиданий организаций, входящих в Олимпийское движение;
• обеспечивает продвижение Олимпийских принципов в результате проведения каждых Игр;
• разрешает все проблемы и оперативные затруднения, при необходимости осуществляя помощь, координацию, выполняя функции посредника и арбитра;
• принимает решения по всем вопросам в соответствии с предписаниями Олимпийской хартии, Контракта о городе-организаторе, Технических руководств или иных официальных документов МОК, которые оказывают влияние на Игры;
• по мере необходимости возглавляет или координирует реакцию на определенные проблемы и ситуации, которые оказывают влияние на Игры; и

IOC roles during Games time
During the Games time the IOC has a number of roles as follows:
• with the assistance and involvement of all Games partners, ensures the success of the Games for all clients through operational planning and delivery
• ensures the quality, values and success of the Games are sustained, and the general expectations of Olympic Movement entities are fulfilled
• ensures that the benefit of each Games includes the promotion of Olympic principles
• resolves any issues and operational difficulties through assistance, coordination, facilitation and arbitration, where necessary
• makes decisions on all matters prescribed by the Olympic Charter, Host City Contract, Technical Manuals or other IOC official guidelines which affect the Games
• leads or coordinates response to specific problems and situations which affect the Games, as required; and
• provides appropriate communications with all clients, media and the public.

МОК поручает городу-организатору, совместно с НОК страны-организатора, организацию Игр в соответствии с официальными руководящими принципами МОК. Host City, in conjunction with the Host NOC, is entrusted by the IOC with the organization of the Games in accordance with the IOC official guidelines, and has specific decision-making and operational responsibilities. However, the IOC will exercise its authority as the event owner to ensure the quality, values and success of the Games are sustained, and the general expectations of Olympic Movement entities are fulfilled.
